Bernard + Edith
Super excited to be curating this show with Melting Vinyl for the brilliant Mancunian dream-pop duo: Bernard + Edith. They will be playing tomorrow (Friday 11th) at the Hope & Ruin, I’m also excited to have some great local support rounding up the whole night, and I’m very grateful they all said yes to being part of this.
Bernard + Edith create dark and shimmery music. There’s an edginess and an unique universe they have created, it engulfs you; you are running afoot in the same place but in a different time and space.
Foreign Skin just keeps getting bigger and better. She creates a hypnotic audio-visual live experience; and mixes together oriental and western vibes.
The lovely Tiger Lion has just released her debut EP, and it is a dreamy collection of 5 songs, deep, vulnerable yet strong and entrancing. I have yet to see her play live, so this is going to be an extra treat.
Eva Bowan has the most succinct of music tastes, her DJ-ing will most certainly complete the whole experience of this night. Here’s her DJ taster playlist.
